A magnificent mare by the global dressage star Total Hope OLD! We acquired her at 3 months old in Germany for our breeding program at Status-Victoria DBS. In recent years, our dressage center has actively utilized the bloodlines of Totilas and his sons to produce high-class young stock. Time and history show that today, this is one of the most reliable and successful genetic resources for producing strong horses with great potential for top-level sports performance. Our breeding collection includes direct daughters of Totilas, a daughter of Total Hope, and 2024 foals by Total Jr. Acquiring a daughter of Total Hope is not easy, primarily due to the high cost, limited availability of his semen, and high demand creating significant competition among buyers.
Sire: Total Hope OLD is the result of crossing the world's best mare and the world's best stallion, Totilas and Weihegold OLD. Total Hope OLD won his first Grand Prix in 2020 at just eight years old with an exceptional score of 76.491 percent. He then repeated his victory at two other competitions that same year. In 2019, the duo of Total Hope OLD and Isabell Freese won bronze at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo. At the Nurnberger Burgpokal final, the pair scored second place in the qualification round in Redefin, and in Frankfurt, they achieved a score of 79.220%. Commentator Christoph Hess: "Pure potential for collection – at 7 years old! This horse has an aura, charisma; you can already see the possible future of this promising Total Hope. A gem, a magical essence, which couldn't be better, incredibly well presented. These pirouettes and flying changes, incredible for his silhouette, the horse could hardly perform them higher or better!"
His sire, Totilas, was the first horse in history to break the 90% barrier, scoring 90.7% to take home individual and team gold at the 2009 Windsor Europeans. He then won three gold medals at the 2010 Kentucky World Equestrian Games, and also scored 92.3% at Olympia 2009, setting a record that stood for four years. In 27 international Grand Prix appearances with Edward Gal, Totilas scored over 80% on 24 occasions. Under Matthias Rath, Totilas was part of the team that won silver medals at the 2011 Rotterdam Europeans and finished fourth individually. Three (!) of Totilas's offspring competed at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Total Hope OLD's dam, Weihegold OLD, is a true star in the history of international dressage. From 2016 to 2019, Weihegold OLD, ridden by Isabell Werth, was the most successful mare in terms of prize money-to-earnings ratio. In 2016, she won €119,775; in 2017, €243,420; in 2018, €166,225; and in 2019, €170,490. Since 2015, the mare has won at least €861,571 in 85 starts. Weihegold OLD's success under Isabell Werth is immense. Between 2015 and 2022, they won 61 competitions. They placed 79 times, meaning they were out of the placings in only six of their starts.

Dam: Talette, an Oldenburg mare by Sir Donnerhall out of Florestan I. Breeding mares by Sir Donnerhall I are always a favorable sign in a pedigree, especially on the dam's side. Daughters of Sir Donnerhall I have produced a vast number of offspring of the highest sporting and breeding level – exemplified by champion stallions Dynamic Dream, Feinrich and Fynch Hatton OLD, Zauberlehrling PS OLD, regional champion Don Romance PS OLD, and many others.
Sir Donnerhall I is among the top four dressage sires in the world according to the WBFSH. Many of his offspring have achieved success in Grand Prix competitions. He has produced over 100 licensed stallions, including numerous champions and premium stallions, and over 200 premium mares. He is the King among breeding dressage stallions in Europe and the World. In the dam's pedigree, we see the stallion Florestan I, who comes from a bloodline that has played a significant role in dressage horse breeding. He has produced over 50 approved stallions and over 35 state premium mares. Recognized as a stallion with excellent heredity, Florestan I's dressage index is 166, and his progeny include top stallions Florencio, Fidermark, and Fürst Heinrich (sire of Fürstenball).
