Pedigree
horsetelexDescription
Heraldika was born and raised on our farm. She is a young, bright filly with productive gaits and a powerful, technical jump. She combines correct conformation, excellent pedigree, performance ability, and a good temperament.
Heraldika's sire is Caravagio, a son of Cornet Obolensky, licensed in Germany. Cornet Obolensky's achievements are numerous – he is the most outstanding sport horse in the world in recent years – an Olympic Games participant and a European Championship silver medalist. His offspring are very popular worldwide; they have repeatedly won and placed in keurings, proven themselves as high-class sport horses, and hold great value in breeding. On the paternal line, one can see his son – Cor de la Bryere – Corrado, who, under Franke Sloothaak, was a multiple winner of major tournaments, as well as Heartbreaker – a multiple winner of World Cup stages and a most valuable sire. Heartbreaker is the son of the most famous sire in the Netherlands over the last 20 years – Nimmerdor – a winner at World Cup stages, international tournaments, and a participant in the 1984 Olympic Games. Caravagio's dam, Pauline, carries the valuable blood of Germany's legendary stallion – Polydor, who founded the most influential line in Westphalia and has been the #1 sire for the last decade. Through his offspring and grandchildren, Polydor endows his descendants with excellent health, a friendly and responsive temperament, superb conformation, and extraordinary power.
Heraldika's dam, the Trakehner Grappa, belongs to the bilateral line of the Arabian Priboy, which is truly outstanding in its significance for Russian breeding. Priboy's grandson through Topoli — Tantal, Grappa's grandfather, successfully competed for a long time in show jumping at All-Union and republican competitions, twice winning "for puissance" at RSFSR championships. The pedigree also includes another descendant of Priboy — the Arabian Pomaranets — a breed champion and two-time winner of VDNKh. From Pomaranets came the stallion Paket, who became the national eventing champion, a participant in the Mexican Olympics, and his sons Poputnik and Poplin, who were prize-winners at All-Union and Republican competitions. But his most valuable son proved to be Hockey (Grappa's maternal grandfather), a horse of unparalleled significance in Soviet breeding. He produced over 350 offspring, numerous valuable broodmares, 11 successful breeding stallions, and another 7 stallions in international breeding, as well as a large number of high-class sport horses. Hockey's descendants had outstanding performance ability.
On the maternal line is one of the most influential stallions in the breed, Ostryak, who competed successfully in show jumping for a long time. He founded a strong branch of the Pilger line, producing sport horses such as Topky, Eol, Egoist, Khazyain, Mezon, Marmur, Orion, and Equator.
